Two FSTD levels

Our FSTD is available in two distinct levels: MPS737 Standard and MPS737 Advanced. The MPS737 Standard version is suited towards MCC, jet-orientation training and bridge courses. The MPS737 Advanced expands this range with more type-specific training, including type-rating credits. To find out more about the features and differences of the MPS737 Standard and MPS737 Advanced, see the Specs & Pricing page.

Designed with MPL in mind

With the new MPL (Multi-Pilot License) becoming a reality in the very near future, our FSTDs have been designed with the requirements of MPL training in mind. Very soon, our FSTDs will also feature automated ATC environments (standard feature on the MPS737 Advanced). By using our FSTD at different stages in the MPL training program, maximum efficiency and cost management can be achieved.

Official Boeing 737NG Flight Dynamics Model

The MPS Boeing 737NG FSTD is supplied with an official Boeing 737NG Flight Dynamics Model. This means that aerodynamically, it flies exactly like a Boeing 737-800 with winglets and CFM56-7B engines, rated at 27K pounds of thrust. Our FSTD is the only FSTD in its class to provide this level of accuracy, including an official Boeing license.

Heavy-Duty Control Loading

The control loading systems built into our FSTD are top-grade industrial control loading also used in multi-million-dollar full flight simulators. Control force feedback is extremely realistic. Control loading is also provided on each individual thrust lever, speed brakes and stabilizer trim.

Full-Size Cockpit

The dimensions of the 737NG cockpit are 100% accurate. Most hardware is replicated and manufactured by MPS or one of our contractors. Parts which are too complex to manufacture are original parts. An example of this is a set of brand new original AVOX-EROS quick-donning oxygen masks in each cockpit.

Full Systems and FMC/CDS simulation

All major software components in our FSTD are designed and programmed in-house according to Boeing specifications. This way we have full control over software features and we are able to provide full support. Simulated systems include all systems logic, Flight Management Computer, CDS (Common Display System glass cockpit EFIS), Autopilot / Flight Director / Autothrottle logic and QTG testing and maintenance systems.

Visual Systems

All our FSTD's come standard with a super high-end image generator, RSI's Raster xT, which is also certified on various Full-Flight Level D simulators. Our base FSTD is provided with a direct projection screen with a 200-degree field of view. To enhance realism, an optional collimated mirror display is also available (standard on MPS737 Advanced).

Designed for Safety

All hardware is designed with safety in mind. This means that electrical wiring is designed and implemented according to CE certification specifications and a certification certificate is provided for each FSTD. Furthermore, fire retardent or resistant materials are used throughout the FSTD.

Official Navigation Database

Real FMC navigation data is provided by MPS under license with LIDO, one of the world's premier suppliers of navigation databases for airlines and simulators. This ensures that all IFR training is accurate and current.

Realistic Air-Conditioning and Oxygen

Our FSTD is completely climate-controlled. Additionally, Air-conditioning is linked to pack operation for increased realism. Working real quick donning oxygen masks are fully functional as in the real aircraft.

Intuitive Instructor Station

Our Instructor Operating Station (IOS) is designed in-house in cooperation with EPST, one of The Netherlands' premier FTOs. With feedback from instructors in thousands of hours of actual training sessions, our brand new IOS software was completely written from the ground up.
